Accuracy
Formats come from the SWIFT IBAN Registry (September 17, 2026) and German bank codes from the Deutsche Bundesbank (September 7, 2026 – December 6, 2026); the source and date are shown under every tool. Registries change. We update regularly but cannot guarantee that every value is current, complete or right for your case.
What a check means
A valid result means the IBAN is correctly built. It does not confirm that the account exists, that it is open or who holds it. A calculated IBAN is only as good as the details you type; for German accounts it follows the standard rule, which some banks do not use.
Your responsibility
Before you transfer money, sign a direct debit mandate or give your IBAN to anyone, confirm the details with your bank or the recipient. The IBAN on your bank statement is binding.

As far as the law allows, the owner of this site is not liable for direct or indirect damage arising from using the site or its results.
